You would think that after having heated with wood for over 30 years I would be cutting wood now for next winter, or even the one after that. But NO! The only saving grace is that I have a solar heated space to dry out the wood a bit before it goes into the wood stove.
Somehow I always think it might be different next year, but I never seem to get around to preparing for the future.
