I haven't been riding in a couple of weeks so I took it easy. With snow and some ice on the ground I decided to ride on paved roads. I did a loop down Middle Road and by the Keith Farm with it's lovely pasture, pond, and ocean view. Had to stop for a shot and a look. Beautiful landscape has a way of getting directly to some of the pleasure centers of the brain.
At the end of Middle Road I took a left and had to stop at Priester's Pond. The Land Bank property is such a lovely place at all times of year, and the path is so short that you aren't committing yourself to a long time period when you stop there. Then back home via North Road. Almost no traffic. By the time I passed the fields of the Captain Flanders House the sun had set and there were a few puffy pink clouds in the sky. My feet were starting to get a little cold when I got home.
